Why would I pay for news online when the BBC delivers high-quality news for free? No newspaper will ever get any significant revenue from online services when there are free alternatives.
Newspaper’s have lost there way, so it doesn’t matter if they’re on paper or on-line.
The biggest story recently was the Iraq inquiry and what did the papers focus on “John Terry.”
For this reason I stopped buying papers and I see no reason to buy them on-line.
I found this website that are selling cheap iPad. They are cheap because…. Just visit http://creationstation.webeden.co.uk/
You are not seriously suggesting that just because Apple is pushing the iPad we should actually begin paying for something on the net? I thought everything here was free. Surely!
And in any case whose news is important?
I have a Kindle and occasionally I WILL buy a times online (it’s 1.50$ I think). if I’m bored, at work, with no other alternatives. But, from my home computer? no way! there are WAY too many free sources.
hell no unless it is 2020 or they stopped making newspapers
