I can’t wait for the iPad. I have just applied for one here:http://url.com-extra.info/freeipad
You can participate if you want. Why no? You don’t loose anything.
Future Have A Finger Scanner A REAL ONE TO access your ipad instead of that nooby slide to unlock and flash and download youtube videos and inbuilt tv antennae to get Tv wherever you are and Dvd player That would be cool and why not a pen so you dont smudge that thing because its always greasy connection from ipad to tv to watch films you bought on the ipad
they really need to think more about the ipad they never take other peoples ideas just their own i mean cmon this is 2010 not 2005 its time for the ultimate technology!
and super voice control not just that name of song thing like if you say safari then it will enter the app and talk typing
I don’t think the ipad is that exciting. its sort of a mix between a normal tablet pc and the iphone. the ipad shouldn’t be able to support the actual modern warfare 2 game. when Steve Jobs introduced it he showed it playing a stripped down version (lame graphics) of Need for speed shift so i guess if they do make a modern warfare 2 for that it will pretty much be like the NFSS game that was shown. i think of it as a jumbo iphone with long battery life. The only revolutionary thing about it is its price. its has a pretty low price for being an apple product. Lenovo gots some tablet pc’s that are pretty cool too. u should check them out:

It being pulled from the shelves. Why? Here is a rundown of the iPad:
-It doesn’t have an SD card slot or USB slot. You want to load all your photos on it? You need to buy a special dongle and attach it to the iPad. Ah yes, that’s convenient and cost-effective.
-You need to lay it flat and look straight down at it to type on it. It’s not like a netbook or laptop where the keyboard is flat and the screen is in front of your face.
-You can buy a keyboard accessory — you can spend extra money to turn a low-power netbook-type tablet into a non-portable desktop computer. Meanwhile there are products like Lenovo U1 Hybrid where you can slip the tablet into a netbook shell and turn it into a portable, foldable laptop.
-Apple wants to say it will be great for reading books and magazines, but it has a bright, glossy LCD screen. Meanwhile, electronic book reader devices use an electronic ink technology that doesn’t strain the eyes and can be used in the sun.
-You cannot multitask. You can only do one task at a time. If you want to surf the web and type into a document, you can’t. You need to exit one and then open the other.
-No flash support. Enjoy the web without much of its content!
-It costs $500, minimum, and has a 1 ghz processor. Products with similar specs and abilities cost less than that.
My netbook has a 1.6 ghz Atom processor and cost me $200. And my netbook has an SD slot so I can make the hard drive space as large as I want. And my netbook has USB ports. And I can do multiple tasks on my netbook. Fact is, tablets have been around forever and the mainstream market didn’t want them. Just because they’ve slapped an Apple logo on it, should people suddenly want it?
ipad, not worth it. all it is is having an oversized ipod touch. it does not support anything a normal computer does, if you have or know someone with an ipod touch or an iphone it does the exact same thing just a little faster and bigger screen, dosnt support flash videos or flash games so your really screwed, in fact the droid phone and the nexus one both by google you can get for like $200 with a plan and their almost done making flash support on it and their phones and they have 5mp camaras for 2/5 the price of the ipad, the only thing the ipad has is the over 9 inch screen, but isnt a 3 inch screen that can fit in your pocket and does the same thing with the same power more convient? lol ipad is only 1GHz processor the droid is over .55GHZ and the iphone and itouch is .6GHz (im using all ghz so people who dont know much about it can just use the numbers and not convert from mhz to ghz) and the nexus one is 1GHz and their all way cheeper, not worth it.
what i expect in future updates:
-camera
-stronger cpu (1ghz is not capable of wat ur dreaming of doing with this)
-flash support for web browser (eventually)
-a usb port (eventually, or connectors which will achieve this)
-less bezel around the screen
what i wud hv wanted:
-an optical drive
-optical touchscreen (best touchscreen technology since its more responsive, more precise than capacitive and works with anything: stylus, gloves, nails… and its also cheaper than the capacitive apple uses)
-a custom os more like the mac osx not iphone/ipod touch os
-more memory (64gb is wat u can get on ipod touch)
-at least double the cpu
-usb ports
-full gps (not assisted)
-flash
-webcam
-optical trackpad instead of the home button
-really radical design. (not an enlarged ipod touch, for uniqueness look at neonode n2*)
-instant availability
-wimax
-haptic feedback
* neonode was/is a rly innovative company. they used to make phones with an optical touchscreen and they are the only company to hv used optical touchscreens on phones. now they sell their optical touchscreen technology to be put on other products. here is a list of innovations neonode introduced:
-1st company to implement slide to unlock
-1st company to use flick finger to scroll thru menu
-1st phone with haptic feedback (something iphone still doesnt hv)
-1st phone that was touchscreen only. before them, touchscreens had keypads or even keyboards under the touchscreen.
-1st and still only company to store the os on memory cards (advantage was that in theory u cud put any os u wanted on the device and alternate between them, however, since their products were so rare, this nvr rly happened, but a gr8 idea nevertheless.)
-1st and still only to put the speaker on the back of the phone. (advantage is the size of phone can remain v small while the speaker can be large and v goo quality, in fact they made the smallest touchscreen phones until they went bankrupt. also ur face doesnt rub against the screen tso it doesnt touch any button u didnt want on the touchscreen)

I think that the people who will definitely be excited by the iPad are book readers, as it does a much better job that the Kindle (with color photos and video as well) for reading books.
Then again, there are the loyal Apple fans who will buy ANYHTHING Apple puts out!
I predict that they will be many bugs and that it will take time and there will be better models down the road (that they already have but are not willing to release for profit’s sake).
I saw a place that claims to be giving these things away – http://opiniongoodies.com – I don’t know if it’s real, but from the little research I have done, it looks legit.
i think you’re being a little optimistic… it just doesnt have the kind of power to run that kind of stuff, maybe 2nd and 3rd gen will though…. but for $500, you’re better off either with a gaming pc or ps3
