It will not be able to even load Photoshop because it is NOT a Macbook/PC laptop replacement, it is just a mix of an iPod with a Sony eReader/Amazon Kindle.
There is (will be) a program in the Apple iPhone Apps store for drawing and another for Documents/Spreadsheets/Presentations (the so-called iWorks for iPad) but that is the extent of what is offered for near laptop capabilities.
Maybe in a few years, there will be more convergence but not at this moment!
Probably not.
A wacom tablet doesn’t respond to hand pressure but only to the magnetic pen. If you are drawing on iPad, you will draw your palm on the screen, too. Also, a wacom tablet has pressure-sensitivity, and can know how hard you have pressed. I’m not sure that iPad can determine the level of pressure. Seems to me iPad only knows “click”.
Another thing is iPad doesn’t run Photoshop.
It would be nice if iPad could replace wacom tablet. Wacom tablet with a LCD display is so expensive!
No, it runs the same operating system as an iPhone and cannot use Photoshop. Maybe some one will write a drawing app but apps cost like $10 so you can only expect to get what you pay for.

no, but maybe
